Going to Natal was by far the most amazing experience I have had so far in my life. One thing that I found so cool was how the country breathes soccer. Every aspect of life has something to do with the marvelous game.
When I went to Brazil, I was a descent player; however, there was definite room for improvement.Working with such a great trainer and Miguel was key in my becoming a contributor on my team.My touch, vision, and knowledge of the game improved greatly because of the work we did.Even this year, we use many of the drills we learned in Brazil. In fact, we do the "Brazil Shooting Drill" before every game. We also often play the same Brazilian Formation we learned. Sometimes we even count in Portuguese.
The experiences I had in Brazil were incredible on and off the field. We often tell stories and talk of our hopes to return to Natal someday. When I think of a word to describe the experience, I am speechless. If you have the chance to go you should.I would go again in a heartbeat.
