At this current time, there are non-stop flights to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo from Miami, Orlando, New York, Newark, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Delima Soccer can recommend travel agencies that provide good itineraries with reliable airlines.

Yes, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube allows male parents to stay at the center of training. Atletico Paranaense and Desportivo Brazil kindly request for parents to stay at a nearby hotel. Women parents are encouraged to stay at a nearby hotel.
Parents are welcomed to stay at Oscar Soccer Academy.

Yes, an athlete may accompany his/her team if his/her parent(s) or guardian(s) do not come along on the trip. However, they will have to have the proper travel documents if they are under 18 years of age. Please contact the Brazilian Consulate in your jurisdiction to obtain the needed information for minors traveling abroad without parents or guardians.

The minimum number of days required for a trip is 8-10 days. However, trips of a longer duration can be planned based on your schedule and budget.

Programs are available from February to November and some are year-round. You tell us your preferred dates and Delima Soccer will build the program around them. The most popular dates of travel are during Easter break (March-April) and the American summer months (May-August).

Players should expect stiff competition. The quality of coaching is also very high which will be exhibited both in training sessions and match play. Players will use speed, tactical skills, technical skills, and power during practices and games. Wherever possible, we will attempt to schedule games in different cities and regions. FIFA rules apply in all games.

All travelers must have a current passport and a current tourist visa. Application form, Travel Authorization form, and Medical Release forms must be submitted to Delima Soccer for our records. Tourist visa applications should be sent to the Brazilian Consulate in your jurisdictions. Delima Soccer will assist you through the process.

Yes, the locations we work with in Brazil are very safe. Delima Soccer has a large experience with these trips and in more than 15 years of working, we never had a negative incident. Visitors from the US, Canada, and Europe always marvel at the reception and treatment they receive from the Brazilians.

Not as much as you might think. Portuguese is the national language; however, Delima Soccer provides a bi-lingual staff to assist the players and coaches during their stay. As far as the athletes are concerned, the language of sport is universal.

Delima Soccer carefully selects the best possible hotels for all its participants. Hotels are safe, clean and modern and have a very friendly staff. Delima Soccer has been working with the same hotels for years.

In Brazil everyone eats very well. You will enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry, pizza, meat, and pasta. NO JUNK FOOD! Daily breakfast buffets and nutritious lunches and dinners are included with each package.

The water at the training centers and hotels is purified. Bottled water is available at all meals, practices, games, and in each room. Water is not a major concern in Brazil as is in other Latin and Central American nations.

There are many ways to communicate with family back home. You can call directly from your rooms, call from a public phone through a pre-paid calling card, call directly from your cellular phone (activate that option with your local cell phone provider), use e-mail, or internet programs such as SKYPE.

Your local accommodations, ground transportation, meals, and all soccer activities are included in the cost of your program. Whatever discretionary cash you might spend will be on personal items such as souvenirs or jerseys. The official exchange rate is available on daily newspapers, hotel cashiers, banks, and travel agencies. Cash, an ATM Card, and an internationally accepted credit card such as visa are recommended. Traveler checks are not recommended.
